    Does anyone know - V2013 Advanced, SU4 - if I install Service update 7, must I do new workstation setups?

    On advanced doesn't workstation sync take care of that the first time a user logs in? I believe the feature was added in v2013 PU 2. https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/go/km/docs/sageKM/Sage%20MAS%2090%20and%20200/Assets/Sage%20100%20ERP%202013%20PU2%20(5.00.2.0).pdf

    Thanks. I thought so too, but hesitated with 30 workstations just on my memory!

    Be wary of Crystal, though. In one of those updates the version on Crystal reports went from 5.00 to 5.00b so you get the Conversion prompt on everything.

    That would really be a pain, lot's of Custom forms! Guess it's a Sunday morning update so I have enough time to check it all out. Thanks for the heads-up!!

    I've started just telling the end user that Sage has some type of form conversion problems occasionally and if they get a prompt to convert not to panic and just say ""Yes"". In the vast majority of cases people are ok with it. Especially if you can let your point person onsite know so when people ask what to do they can advise to just say yes to conversion.

    @BethBowers - where/how would I be able to tell if it's 5.00b? Thanks!

    Well, first check the version they are on now, since it might already be 5.00b. In Crystal, go to File/Summary Info and check the Keywords field. If it says 5.00, you're pretty much guaranteed to be screwed. If it is already 5.00b, all is well. One other thing - if you have a report on 5.00 and it won't convert automatically to 5.00b for whatever stupid reason (mascrw doesn't seem to work as well as it used to), you can just pull it up and change the version manually and it should run fine. I've even done that between 5.00 and 5.10 (2014). Also you can manually do that before adding a new custom report to a menu and it won't do the conversion thing. AND you don't have to have ""Converted to"".... you just have to have the version, all by itself, if you're in a hurry.
