Does anyone know of a way to set the default export folder for a custom crystal report? Customer is having it come up to c:\my documents

I don't know the answer but would be interested to know if there's a way. Next best option is to stick a Shortcut in c:\my documents\ so that they can get to the desired location via a single/double click.

Are they in designer or are they trying to export from a preview in MAS?

Export from preview. Designer seems to work but export from preview is opening to \My Documents

There is a setting in the user profile in Windows that gets stored in the registry, I think. Had this issue at a customer about 6-8 months ago and was able to figure it out because some users did have it going to the correct place, and a search in the registry on their computers for that path showed me what to change on the one that was going to My Documents. (I used to be able to just remember this stuff, and now I can't even remember to write it down...)

Wow, I thought it was just me with the memory problems. I try to write things down but then forget where I wrote it down. Thank goodness for Copernic Desktop Search for indexing my system.............

I'm assuming this is a Crystal Viewer setting/profile change? The issue that I have is this isn't very scalable. Telling the customer we have to make registry changes on individual workstations won't be well received and then at upgrade time I bet we will need to go through a similar process if the registry changes.
