Does anyone know of a utility to change cost codes in Job Cost - and modify all hsitory, etc.

Job Cost is a TOUGH module to make corrections in. If it is a big enough deal you can have a program written otherwise it is DFDM

I second @JimWoodhead - but what's the problem with the client's existing cost codes - there might be another solution.

In this particular case, the cost code segments were setup as 3-2 (ie ABC-DE). They want to increase the first segment to four characters, but keep the last two the same. What they want would be ""ABC0-DE"" but of course they are getting ABCD-E0.

Actually a utility program could be written. Is it for jc2 jc3 and JCc only? Any open invoice in A/p.
