Does anyone know if there is an official date when the new maintenance rates for Payroll begin? On a possibly related note, have any of you resellers noticed the Active Product listing in the Partner Portal lists all active clients owning payroll, showing the Part Description as ""Sage 100 STD Payroll _**Unlim Empl**_""? If the Maintenance renewals default to the unlimited employee rate, I think I might have a few disgruntled clients.

In the back of my mind, I am thinking April Fool's Day, 2016 (seriously). Based on the way the roll out of keys and bugs have gone so far, that might be a bit premature. It is unlimited at this time because they have figured out how to re rollout new fee structure. But they will figure out how to through crap at the wall and get it to stick.

I think Sage's plan was to roll out the keys in two stages, presumably the first stage is everyone on payroll gets a registration key for unlimited users that expires on a certain date. Before that expiration date, Sage updates their records with a count of how many employees the user wants to license and re-issues keys that allow up to that many users and also carry a new expiration date synchronized to the main plan term..
