Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? When printing invoices on pre-printed forms, the logo company address, etc. are not printed. When the form pdf is saved to paperless office, only the printed information is stored. If you need to email an invoice, the pdf in paperless office cannot be sent because it is missing this. I figured out a way to add this info on invoices that email directly with electronic delivery based on a Y in PLEmail. But I cannot figure out a way to have the pdf stored with the company info, but print without. Any ideas?

I think @BrettZimmerman did this once with shadow text -- from what I remember when we had ""reprint"" (or similar) as a comment or form code that triggered different suppress areas. I'm sure I hosed the details but I know we've tackled this.

The company logo isn't stored in the PDF. It can print something that isn't there.

I created a special template form (#5?) that can be used for reprinting and e-mailing with the complete information (a variant of the SO invoice # 2 plain). When a reprint is needed, I print the invoice directly from customer inquiry. I have never tried to resend the PDF copy.

@Wayne - Thank you for the concept. I look forward to exploring how this might work. @Myron - The logo would be there, just supressed when printing, but appearing when creating the pdf. @Jeff - Yes, I actually do the exact same thing now. But I think it would be better to have the pdfs already ready to go if necessary.

I think the email invoices work, because they are not printing to paper. How would Crystal know when the invoice is being printed to paper vs. PDF? Without that information, Crystal can't suppress.
