Does anyone know if the Hide Rows option from BI Tools in SMI is dynamic, or if once a row is hidden it will stay hidden even if it no longer meets the requirements? Also, is there any option of basing the selection on TWO fields instead of one, i.e. YTD and Prior YTD? (PS - I don't know if this was just because I converted all of the client's reports from FRX, but there was no year on my reports. It's field =Sheet2!D3, in case anyone needs it.)

Hide Rows is not dynamic. We run it every month when we prepare financials. The Hide Rows feature is based on a specific column, so we have a hash column set up (ABS(Col1)+ABS(Col2)) etc, and we hide the rows based on the values in this column.

OK, so I should Unhide and create the hash column and Relink that, then just do the hide and no relinking on a monthly basis. That's nice and user-friendly.

Sorry for being a late comer to this party, but isn't the ""hide rows"" just a macro? Could you use the Run Macro on Completion option in the report designer? I'd get in touch with Craig Juta or Steve Coull on the Sage Intelligence community. They are both excellent resources when it comes to these kinds of questions.
