    Does anyone know if the BP gets tier credit for renewing off plan customers that have been off plan for 3 years or more? I thought at some point if they went back on plan the BP would get some sort of tier credit?

    I believe it is counted as a new sale and you get your normal tier credit as opposed to just a maintenance renewal.

    Therese is correct. They have to re-purchase the software and the BP gets new sale margin and tier.

    Yes, definitely a re-purchase.

    The repurchase is for n-3, which currently is version 4.3 or earlier. Technically not the number of years off plan. This quarter there is a 20% discount for these ""winbacks"". Alternative is subscription with no discount.
