Does anyone know if Sage Timecard will work without the payroll module installed.? Our customer is trying to capture time for work order time entries but not do payroll inside MAS. Don't want to pay the subscription I guess. TIA

Unfortunately, you need the Payroll module in order to use Timecard even if you do not do payrolls in Sage 100.

FYI. Socius wrote a .net app for time entry and to capture WO data then use it to output time for work order transaction import. A web browser is used to enter the time. I can provide more info if wanted.

So the question is how much is the payroll subscription if it is based on the number of checks and you will not be issuing checks. I think checks or payments was the measure for subscription.

You can turn off the integration, but it still looks for Payroll files and there are some fields you can only find in PR1.

and you have WOScan for Work Order and require no sage module or licensing at all. and have it real time.

@LarryBradford Sage told me that thin this situation you subscribe to the least costly payroll tier - I think that's $550 for up to 10. My customer did not subscribe so i can't tell you if what Sage said was accurate.

We had to do the minimum (10 employees) for one of our clients to get it to work.
