    Does anyone know if SAGE Software is sending out email notifications to SAGE 100c customers when their subscription is up for renewal? I received a phone call today from an unhappy SAGE 100c client. SAGE hit their corporate credit card for both the annual regular subscription and their annual payroll subscription. I know I receive e-mail reminders in advance for renewals of my DropBox account(s). I think I receive reminders for my Microsoft 365 subscription. If SAGE is sending reminders where is the contact info maintained? In the Customer Portal?

    As best I understand, Sage is supposed to send advanced reminders. But I do not think that (regularly) happens.

    Not much happens regularly at Sage. I am dealing with a customer that expires today and the message appears on their system that the subscription has expired. It has not - it would officially be expired tomorrow. Their credit card expiration has been updated, so I had them send a new Payment Authorization form in. I don't think anyone is checking the credit cards in advance. I now have 2 people in Atlanta that are in charge of this, so they will get e-mails/calls soon from me, since I have had to deal with this for numerous customers.

    Their system shows that they send out notices. 80%+ of our clients tell us they receive nothing from Sage. We still cannot get confirmation on what email they are using to send those out. We continue to forward customers emails to the renewal team so Sage can respond to them. AZ Zabala oversees the reps and Christopher Smith oversees the renewal department AZ.Zabala@sage.com Christopher.SmithU.S@sage.com (yes he does have a different email format)

    @MelissaSecody Thank you for listing the e-mails. I did one of my 1-page complaint e-mails to them and many others copied regarding a customer of ours that could not get into their system today (the end date of the subscription was today). The inferior customer service and flawed procedures to me are the biggest problems Sage has right now, and I have not seen any improvements.

    My experience has been that the renewal info is emailed to the customers contact that is marked as ""Standard"". I'm pretty certain (it was too long ago) I had to use the personalize button in the customer contact area on the partner portal and create a new default view that included that ""Standard"" column. I email my account manager with the details if I ever need customer contact info changed.

    Several customers have showed me the email from Sage that they received the same day as their renewal expiration date. It has the subject ""Your Sage Invoice INV00167444"" and states ""Thank you for your Sage Subscription! Attached is your order confirmation in the amount of $xxxxxxx."" It has a PDF attached with the renewal details. One customer showed me a completely different kind of email they got from Sage about 10 days before the expiration date. It had the subject ""Your e-statement and renewal information"" and the body of the email said Auto Renew Notification with the plan period and renewal amount. I'm not sure if customers aren't getting the emails at all or just aren't reading them. It's definitely a learning experience for them as many are going through the first time their 100c is automatically renewing.

    Wouldn't it be so great to have a panel pop up for the user that say's your subscription expires in 45 days - Pay now? And then like magic, your browser window opens to the appropriate URL life is good. Of course, you may have some set up options to specify who would see the pop up ..... Another reason to vote for the fabulous idea...... Back in January, I called Sage and asked who was getting these renewal emails and the response was, look on the partner portal, customer support had no idea. I looked on the portal and five out of the six people listed were no longer employees...... How long can this last??
