Does anyone know how to get a VI job (MAS200 4.3) to update a sales order that is on credit hold? Have a VI job stuffing the UPS tracking number into the comment field (yeah, I know, we've always done it that way....) and the freight amount, but many of the orders are on credit hold and the VI job gives an error ""insuffficient permission to edit this record"". The VI job is running from a batch file and the user it logs on as has the admin role withFULL permissions including overriding credit holds in SO.

Greg, I can't seem to duplicate this in version 2013 using ABC data. Are you certain the message is due to the credit hold? I put my customer on hold, order on hold and made sure the customer was over the credit limit and I could still import into the comment field and also into the freight field. I did this running the VI job manually, it was not an automated job.

Probably true, 2013 is much smarter than 4.3. This is on version 4.3 and I checked each order that failed in the vi log and it popped up with the credit override screen, so I am pretty sure that is what it is.

odd, I noticed the version you were using after my first post so I tried again in 4.3, but I still can't seem to duplicate it. I'm using mas90 (not 200 but should not matter) version 4.30.16. I'm in the ABC company. my vi job is pretty simple - just the order number, comment, and the freight amount. I suspect the Freight amount would be the culprit since it would require a change in the order total. I am just running it manually still. I have an export of my simple job attached in case it is of any help.
