Does anyone if there are groups similar to this one that exist for Sage Abra VARs?

I don't. I'm not sure there's a good reason not to have an Abra section here if there is interest and someone wants to run with it.

Double agree. I would like to see OASIS expand. The challenges will be 1) signal to noise and 2) keeping momentum and value to ensure value. #1 can be managed by unsubscribing to product-specific groups, right? and #2 would be the responsibility of whoever heads up a particular product set to ensure there is enough content and information to encourage ""repeat customers"" and activity. I've seen too many people create LinkedIn groups that become a ghost-town after the first month. I try to do what I can by spamming them with articles pointing to http://www.summitdiary.com but I'm just one man! :)

If we do a Sage ABRA should we target some Abra vars or can @PamScott and @JohnShaver Shaver (I think they are our Abra folks) carry the section? I'm thinking Dresser?

@AmyShaver and I certainly would contribute. But it definitely makes sense to expand the group. Our experience with Abra 10.1 (the SQL version) is that Sage has very few support folks who know the product.

And they're trying to convince me to learn Abra.

There was a time when I was certified in MAS 500 +manufacturing, Job Ops and Abra in addition to MAS 90/200. I finally decided my brain was too full.

My thought = before we setup a new sub-group lets be sure we have 10 active users or the group will just wither.
