Does anyone have suggestions on a no-frills alternative to Timecard? I have a client who inputs employee time in Timecard, that integrates with Jobcost. They outsource payroll. When we upgrade them, they would need to purchase payroll (now required with Timecard), which would be cost-prohibitive given the number of employees they have. I can setup an import to Job Cost, but I need a simple time entry product where we could create employees, jobs, and cost codes. The payroll clerk enters employee time for all employees, which we then export to Sage. Favorites anyone?

We have used Microsoft Access for these simple time collection systems that can integrate to Sage 100. I'd be happy to show you some examples if you want to write yourself or utilize what we have done. steve@comstrategies.com

They can go on the $550/year lowest PR tier as long as they never run an actual payroll within Sage 100.

I have run into this several times, right now the only answer is to purchase the lowest PR tier level, so that Time Card can process. The Microsoft Access option sounds interesting.

I have run into a variation of this with the customer wanting to have users remotely enter time on their smartphone. Without going into something more complex (HR, Outsource PR) I wasn't able to find an affordable solution that integrated to Sage 100.

I have customer using TimeForce and they can use an app to record time on their mobile devices. TimeForce has job tracking features too.

Thank you, everyone, for your input. Steve, I have an Access app. that we set up long ago. I'm not sure I want to go down the Access road. Moira, does your client export from TimeForce to Sage?

For Payroll or Job data? They export TimeForce to Paychex. The job data is/was exported to Excel and used for efficiency reporting. You can export TimeForce data to many formats so I'm sure that if you wanted export to Sage it is doable.

Another product to consider is Workforce Go. According to some Minds that went to Sage Intacct Summit, this product integrates with Sage 100 as well as Intacct. https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/1cbf80_8bcecd0ea7c944f1bd04cc783b463911.pdf

Thanks Moira. The export would be to Job cost. I'll take a look at both of your suggestions.
