  • 1.  Does anyone have Sage AP Automation / Beanworks Implementation Materials

    I'm looking for implementation materials - specifically for the system requirements for Sage AP Automation.

    I have a customer who is in the middle of looking at this and they are contemplating a move to Sage 100cloud Premium ( SQL ) and I'm looking to verify that it's compatible with Premium and what type of server setup is required ( do we have to run a service? )

    Oddly this product is not listed on the January 2020 Integrated Solutions guide.

    Does Sage AP Automation Sync Tool work with Unified Login? I am reading through the AP Automation documentation and it talks about creating a Sage User though I'm not entirely certain whether that will work with my customer who uses Unified Login.

    I spoke to Beanworks and the person I talked with - Suzanne Xu ( implementations ) said she does not think that Beanworks works with unified login and that the sync tool runs as a service.

    I am not 100% that she is the best person for technical questions so I am still looking to speak with someone else.

    My customer is definitely using Unified Login with Sage as part fo their security requirement and if Beanworks doesn't support Unified Login then that may derail this deal.

    Thanks, Moira. I was able to get some info from the Beanworks website. Then I talked to their implementation person and got some more. Unfortunately, the customer didn't involve me in the initial discussions so they found a few surprises which hopefully won't derail their project.
