Does anyone have experience with MacBook and Sage 100 Advanced using Microsoft Terminal Services? Just wondering if it's safe to recommend and will accommodate the nuances of Sage 100.

If you're wondering about general access -yes. I have a couple customers where I think they are almost exclusively Mac and they are all accessing via some type RDP. If there's a more technical underlying question, then let me know and I can check.

@DougJenkins , I use a MacBook all day long and into the night and connect to many different terminal server desktops using Microsoft Remote Desktop version 8.0.20. There were some painful issues with older versions, but this version seems to work very well. I have not problems with it at all and can have many RDS sessions open on different servers and can cut and paste among them. I can also share local resources, including printers, with no problem. - Phil

In our citrix environment MacBooks are no problem.

Just be careful if you with Al-tec Doclinks that their document management software does NOT work in a MAC world yet.

I am researching Microsoft Remote desktop for this specific user. Thank you all for your feedback. @PhilipWhirley , do you recommend a specific MacBook iOS level? And do you have good luck printing reports and forms in Sage?

On my MacBook I am currently running Yosemite. I generally upgrade to the latest iOS not long after general release, but I am holding off on El Capitan for a little while since the reviews are not stellar. However, I cannot say that I've had any trouble with any of them vis--vis remote desktop (except for aforementioned problems with the old RDP version). I print Sage reports to my local printer without any problem.

I've used El Capitan for a while now and have not had any issues.
