Does anyone have clients doing significant volume with Amazon, and do they have something that creates the packing slip/ASN that Amazon requires? I gather that Amazon wants the packing slip by carton, not for the entire order, and that can be really time-consuming to enter.

I think that someone asked this and/or I saw a notice go out (perhaps from MAPADOC) regarding changes Amazon was implementing for certain sellers. You might reach out to Hellene Thurston and see what they have - Hellene.thurston@mapadoc.com

Kissinger has some Amazon specific stuff too. I haven't looked at it very deeply though.

Then there is this whole dimensional weight issue UPS & Fedex just popped on everybody 1/1. Essentially the price of shipping everything just went up and the days of getting a big box from amazon filled with some air bubbles and a small item are over

I did a similar project a couple of months ago for Amazon. created a Crystal report to export to Excel invoice info (invoice#, item number, descrip, line key) after shipping data entry is complete. User then populates a column in Excel with the package number. Then use VI to import it to the Shipping Data Entry pick and pack table. You can then use the Shipping Data Entry packing list as the Amazon ASN document.

This has always been a common theme with MAS users using EDI & Shipping. Unless the two solutions come from the same vendor, the tracking info is hard to get over to the ASN. Almost lost a client over this issue some years back due to Bed Bath & Beyond's requirements
