Does anyone have client that have started using the Mobile Sales? Just wondering if it works as promoted and if there are any issues or short comings that we need to know about. Thanks, Pam

I think @JohnHoyt and perhaps @MoiraGoggin sat through a demo. As I recall there are a couple things to be aware of. Some of it is discussed in the demo - such a pricing not being real time. Also I think that there was an issue where you could not create new items from the remote app. Consensus is (I think) that for the non-committal price the customer is just as well off to subscribe and test it out. Naturally your time comes into the equation (or not).

We sat through a couple of demos. Also there is a sales kit on mysagesell.com with useful information, http://mysagesell.com/portal/archives/playbook/sage-mobile-sales-sales-kit The product has some good features for a first release, but lacks what experienced ERP users might expect. In addition to @WayneSchulz comments I'd add that all salesreps see all customers, you have to load the items to use them, it's not a clean upload from the ERP and there isn't any filtering for customers to either allow or disallow them from mobile sales and there isn't any distinctions for warehouse quantities.

I seem to remember that the pricing can't be changed in the mobile app...is that correct?

I don't recall exactly, but I am guessing that it can if the user has the proper rights. Will have to watch that captivating v2014 certification video on mobile apps again.

Beware for customers with multiple warehouses. Mobile Sales cannot distinguish between inventory levels in different warehouses. Any consideration of iSales 100?

I have a prospect very interested in the Mobile Sales solution. Is there any updated info anyone could add to the already posted comments. This has been very helpful.

I'd be interested in real world feedback on all of the add-ons that Sage introduced -- Mobile, Sage Inventory Advisor, Service, Billing and Payments. It seems like there was a big 2-4 month push and things have gotten very quiet.

I have a customer interested in Mobile Service. Any feedback on that?

We have seen interest and done demos, but it is very limited thus far and have no customers that have purchased.

Customer feedback re Mobile Sales - no place for a Customer PO. Also won't use default Shipto and can't use other shiptos. ""ADD"" button is way at the bottom, so if you add an item on a long order, you have to keep paging down until you finally get to it. As of May, there was an issue of it just closing - no error - if you hit a wrong button. Also, the lines are in part number order no matter how you entered them, but once it gets imported into Sage, it seems to be in some random order. When changing qty after choosing to copy from a previous order, it duplicates some lines. And there is a header description field and you can't see all of it on a lookup.

I shared this information internally and received this additional information from one of our consultants. ""Are you aware that there is limitation with udf's? If a customer has udf's on the SO screens, they can't be used in Sage Mobile.
