    Does anyone have any tricks for syncing Benefit Mall with Payroll Services? Customer is on V2016 Std, and they had it working for a couple of months. They are using a specific computer for this so the OS could be frozen in time, and I didn't see any recent Windows updates installed on the computer they are using. Benefit Mall claims that everything looks good on their end. Thanks!

    I had a client on Sage 100 2013 with the old Sage Payroll Services. Benefit Mall was involved in the sync process. Because Sage had sold the Payroll Service to someone else, neither Sage or Benefit Mall would support it. I think Benefit Mall did say something like ""Looks good to us."" :) Anyway, my notes are sketchy (from 2014), but the problem in our case was a file missing from the workstation that ran the sync process. My notes indicate it was a Windows file of some kind, but I can't seem to find the name. If you are familiar with FileMonitor, you might try running that while you attempt the Sync process. It may indicate the file it's trying to find. Sorry for the sketchy details. I remember it was a big mystery for us and the solution was quite simple. When I saw ""Benefit Mall"" in your message, it made me want to find you whatever information I could, however minimal.

    Are they on the latest PU? Last year a client stopped interfacing and it was resolved with a PU install.

    In looking at the sync/activity log, it's throwing this error message. ""Sync failed. Make sure the url is correct and you have an active internet connection."" This is the only URL I am seeing in the log - https://sync.payrollonline.com/snc/datasync.asmx I just don't know enough about this to know where to go from here. @JeffSchwenk - They are on 2016 STD PU5.

    Here is what I found in the PU notes for 2016.5. This was in the PU5 release. It seems to be your issue. You could try reinstalling PU5. Or perhaps reinstall the workstation.
