Does anyone have any recommendations on Scanco vs ScanForce? Have a customer on 4.4 looking at bar coding.

There have been discussions on this here before. You might try searching. I believe ScanForce won hands down.

There have been a lot fo discussions and from my memory the migration was toward Scanforce for a multitude of reasons. I mean from what I recall it was almost unanimous.

Just finishing up with a Scanco install that was a wee bit of a disaster. Last one for me.

We have switched to Scanforce as the go-to supplier for this application.

I can't speak to scanforce, but Scanco is the worst company in history to do business with

So Scanco is the company Congress looks at to tell themselves they could actually be doing worse?

Gary Willet at ICS (Innovative Consulting Services) is great to work with. Smaller outfit and not sure where they are with 4.5 yet. Multi-Bin built into their product, which is nice, but not as robust as ACS Multi-Bin. Have had mixed experiences with Scanco and no experience with ScanForce.

What sort of things are you trying to accomplish with bar coding?

Scanforce, Scanforce, Scanforce

Starting with counts and transfers - they already have the ACS MultiBin, so it has to be one that works with that. Hopefully the force will be with them...

ScanForce is the way to go in my book too

The last two Scanco installs were less than impressive for me. I will definitely try Scanforce next time.

This is a perfect example is when a company ignores their customers how they ruin their reputation and future business

We did a Scanco Webinar once but I don't believe we have ever done a Scan Force webinar. Post back if there is any interest and we'll look into having one.
