Sage 100

Does anyone have a solution for the following? Sage 100 Advanced Version 2013 In PO - receipt of goods - We want to be able to scan a barcode that is the alias item number and have it take us to the quantity received field for that line item.

That's a tricky one. You're using a traditional wedge/USB scanner?

Program the scanner to send the tab key, then set your tab order to land on qty received? (theory, not tested)

But it is an excellent theory

How does it identify the correct line item via the alias on the receiver to the line on the PO which is the standard item code?

If it is a vendor alias then the alias should be in the PO line record. Once again theory that Sage would actually use that field in the way a reasonable person would expect...

Although see @HaroldWestover recent thread on scanning and receipt of goods - looks like Sage 100 needs some scripting in order to accomplish reasonable expectations...
