Does anyone have a method they use for getting the fiscal period dates in a report (client is 4-4-5)? In this case, the client would like to have subtotals per period on the GL Detail Transaction Report. Easy to do if they were on calendar, not so for fiscal. And since my total day has been down in the sh*tter anyway, my brain isn't functioning AT ALL. Thanks for any suggestions (but make them easy so my head doesn't explode).

Can you strip out the month from the date and subtotal based on that? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding.

The fiscal period is in the work table. I'm thinking you should be able to add a group for it after the account group. I haven't tried it but thought it might work. I know I inserted a date group (by month) because my customer wanted a space between months and it worked well.

Okay I tried it and it appears to work well. Just move the group above the posting date group.

No, because in at least one case a month is in 2 fiscal periods (i.e. period 3 ended Apr 1, period 4 ends Apr 27).
