    Does anyone have a document or link or any resource that explains the exact type of smtp server required to presently run paperless office? I believe it does not support authentication but beyond that I'm lost to provide guidance when the setup does not work and the customer asks for some technical information.

    I always have to fight the IT people to get this to work. After about two weeks, they final come through.

    The setup supports authentication. See Company Maintenance - Servers. Two gotchas I've run into when mail is hosted internally are - 1. Set the password on the authentication account not the expire OR make sure someone changes the password in the Paperless setup when it is changed for the email account. 2. Make sure the SMTP mail server will permit relaying from certain SMTP clients. A MAS workstation sending Paperless email is using SMTP. For security reasons SMPT relaying frequently is disabled. Need to enable for MAS workstations sending email via Paperless Office.
