Does anybody of an example of an IT Managed Services Agreement? I need to put something together for an opportunity and would rather not start from scratch.

Probably not what you're looking for but this is what I use for ongoing Sage 100 support agreements - http://goo.gl/W9J0K

@KevinWesley Do you get many questions about your auto-renewing three year terms?

We just used that as the basis for our agreement. A lot of those items were removed, or are modified, based on the customer. That form covers a lot of territory and gets you thinking when drafting your first doc. It helped, but we don't use all of it. We don't have anybody auto-renewing, but all Managed Service agreements begin with a 3 year minimum. Too much up front cost for us to not have a multi-year agreement.

No, I don't have this complete one in Word. That would have saved me some time too, but we cut a lot of this stuff out anyway. Our pricing is based on quantity of users and quality of the customer. Workstations range from $70 - $115 per and Thin Clients are $30 - $75 per.

@KevinWesley Who's solution do you use? ie, Level platforms? of that $70 to $115, how much goes to the monitoring solution?

You used to be able to get a copy off the Dell site for their service agreement

We use Continuum. Desktop pricing starts at $8 and goes up to $43 for the Cadillac plan with unlimited offsite and 24x7 Service Desk. We don't use Continuum on the Thin Clients since there isn't a backup required. Customers just have a spare that they will swap on site, or we will make a site visit. Forgot the server pricing. We use Continuum for that Monitoring as well. Pricing on that depends on Remote Care and offsite storage size as well. Starts at $49 for onsite and goes to $109 with unlimited offsite and remote service. We charge between $250 - $400 per server in addition to the workstations.

@KevinWesley So you are saying you are charging as much as $5k/year for one server support?

And is most of your market Utah?

@MarkChinsky - What kind of pricing are you seeing? There is value in these services and it has to be sold that way. I would much rather have a smaller group of good paying customers than trying to be the low buck guy and try to make it up with volume.

We haven't done a deal on a 'per machine' basis yet. I just take numbers like your's multiply it out and its way more than we've been charging for our 'break/fix' and server contracts. I'm hoping our competitors in this area are close to your numbers as I'd love to charge more. Do you know any MSP in the NE?
