See if through Windows you can manually register this DLL: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Sage Common Desktop\2.0\bsRegistration.dll If on a 64-bit machine look in C:\Program Files(x86) instead and try to register with the regsvr32.exe in the c:\windows\SysWOW64 folder.

It would not register ... got this message: Cannot import c:\xxxxthe .dll: The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor. This is a Windows 7 32bit.

Rename all the files in that \2.0 folder then run Workstation Setup but when you do so, right-click on the WkSetup.exe and choose Run as Administrator.

Thanks, I will try that. I had rerun the workstation setup as Administrator, but had not deleted those files first. I will let you know, and thank you for all of your assistance!

Don't know if you saw the writeup but there is one for line 878 that says to restore the SY_Message file

I did see that but not everyone is getting the error either, just one workstation. This problem has been going on for a long time (March 2011 I found out by digging into the Sys Activity Log) ... so I don't think they would even have a good backup!
