Does anybody know if Jobops is compatible with any third party multi-bin add-on?

Absolutely - Scanforce and WO Scan (used to be VB Scan) both work

nope - pretty sure it's not (at least wasn't a year ago and no plans at that point)

Gary - are you talking about Scanforce or WO scan with M/B? That's great, but no JobOps with M/B, correct?

You may be correct. I was thinking that the WO Scan has multi-bin. I know he works with ACS multi-bin. I would check with Joe Bisaha. jbisaha@jdbsg.com

WO Scan definitely works with ACS multi-bin, we have that installed with one client. And Joe also has a product that automates some of the JobOps transactions, similar to WO Scan - but no multi-bin works with JobOps to my knowldege. I've brought this up several times with Ryan at JobOps because the majority of our clients that have needed something like JobOps also need multi-bin - so there is an issue there.

Spoke with jobops. Basically, ICS's WMS system works with jobops & tracks bin info, but not within the jobops screens. Looks like the prospect can get away with the ol' Lot Number approach however. Thanks all for your input

It's a bummer that JO folks refuse to play with others...however, if you haven't looked at what Joe has done with WOScan and the WO module, you should. You know I love JO, but what he's done is made WO (with ACS' WOEP package) pretty competitive to JO. And he's getting ready to release a Job Cost version as well. It plays very well with ACS' multi-bin too and has a QC tracking function. All SQL, so lots of opportunities to add reporting services. Since JO won't change their software to accommodate some of the features, JOSCan can't be modified except within the constraints of JO. Just fyi...

@DebThomas Since you have worked with both could you pen down some of the pro and con of JobOps vs WOEP . Also What tasks would require JobOps over WOEP. . TIA
