Do you use a standard set of roles for security setup within Sage100? Do you have a way to efficiently setup in a new Sage 100 install or migrate to an established client?

No standard Roles, just have to go through all of the permission options.

I was looking to see if someone either 1) replaced the security files during initial install or 2) ran an import or 3) Sage had some export import prebuilt (think custom office or VI Job transfers).

On new installs, I set up a common role that I want all roles to have. When setting up the other roles, I start with copying from the common role

AllAccess (for us / admin) AlmostAllAccess (for power business users... no post from preview and remove forms message suppressed) After that, it depends on the customer's organization / requirements.

Oh, and with an upgrade we create a copy of AllAccess called AllAccess####, to quickly see what options have been added with the upgrade.

Currently we have a full access roll. We then Have Module-User and Module-Supervisor for each module. Typically assigning these roles to all companies. I was looking to expedite the setup of this. I guess even that varies based on modules purchased.
