Do you have any recent experience with a customer on a version of Sage 100 with self-updating keys who changes from one platform to another? Is Sage invalidating the old keys or do the old keys continue to work for a period of time? Example: Customer on 2016 went directly through Sage to migrate to Sage 100cloud. At the time Sage promised they were going to also change the customer from Standard to Advanced. Sage 100 Standard 2016 is in production Sage 100cloud 2018 Advanced is being migrated/upgraded to The migration from Standard to Advanced with new Sage keys was never done. Now, when I put in the request to change from Standard to Advanced is Sage going to de-activate the 2016 Standard keys which are still needed for about another 30 days until the customer has tested and is ready to move to Advanced?

Sometime back last fall, I could swear (but I do that a lot) that Sage told me the Advanced keys would work with STD. I will slog through my correspondence via the ""Way Back Machine"" to see if I can get lucky. I am thinking Linda Cade offered that tidbit of guidance but don't hold me to that.

Found it. Can't say enough about Copernic Desktop Search (http://www.copernic.com/). Can't tell you how many times it has found an email or file that I knew was somewhere on my laptop. A required program for everyone nearing retirement and a very helpful tool for the youngsters as well. Use only the ADV keys as they will work on STD platform. Everything else in steps is correct. Linda
