    Do you have a simple plug-in USB bar code scanner that you recommend to users looking to do basic tethered swiping of bar codes into Sage?

    OK - what about for an ipad? Client found a good remote Desktop app to use to run Sage on ipad in warehouse. Now is looking for scanner to enter item and lot numbers in inventory transactions.

    Alan, that's a tricky one. You are in an RDP session from an iPad. It's hard to even get the regular keyboard to work, never-mind a scanner. I think the only thing that might work is a Bluetooth device.

    Ot talk to Scanforce/Scanco at this point since you are really now in the realm of ""detached"" computing which they have solutions for and the customer can probably benefit from.
