I have a few customers where for whatever reason their email sending through Paperless stops working. This becomes very difficult to diagnose because you play the "it's Sage's fault" or "prove it's us" game.
After years of doing this, I'm losing my appetite for games and debugging some third-party ( usually an MSP ) IT provider's email system. Not to mention that I really am more dangerous than helpful when trying to do so.
Which leads me to my question of the day ....
Do you have a free or inexpensive SMTP server that you use to quickly test whether paperless email processing is working via SMTP?
If so, please share.
I know we've discussed SMTP2Go in the past and I just took another look. It appears that they require you to make a domain DNS entry which makes this a no-go for simple diagnostic purposes.
Is there anything simpler - even just a free throwaway or Microsoft email would probably work. I could run off and test a bunch but I'm hoping someone will chime in with something they've used reliably and save me the research.
TIA
