Do we want to post a survey to see if there is group interest in a pre-Summit educational session? I think these topics (plus a submit your own in the comments) might be good starters: Sage Intelligence Excel tips and tricks Scripting I think we'd want to focus on sessions that were more in-depth since other material could more easily be covered during Summit at the various exhibitor booths. If we post something we should also give an idea that this would be a paid class. I'd guess $5,000 to $7,000 total fee divided by the number attending plus administrative cost. In other words - such a class probably doesn't make sense for under 20 - 30. I think this should be @ThereseLogeais and/or @JimWoodhead call on whether to move forward with a survey and then plan based on results.

I will post a survey in a bit. I'm thinking maybe a one-day event with two in-depth sessions, one in the AM and one in the PM. We could also ask for volunteers, e.g. Brian Rice? I will say it is preliminary for the time being. Thanks @WayneSchulz .

I suggest if it looks like it will be a go that the online signup (Eventbrite) with CC payment, cancellation policy, as I think that takes a lot of work off Jeff's shoulders and we won't have to wait to wonder who will actually pay, etc.

Eventbrite is a great idea. Cancellation policy is crucial!

@RobertWood - Any idea why this admin group does not show up in my home stream. I miss a lot of admin posts as a result. The thread does appear after I respond to it.

It should show up in the Home Stream but not the Company stream.

That is the problem. It never shows in the home stream until I post a response.....

We are at about almost 15 people voting for pre-Summiit. That's more than I anticipated. Shall we start to talk more about potential speakers, costs, etc as this could pick up steam and I am sure we'd want to get going ASAP. Also I think the part about having sponsors/vendors in for an update on their products is interesting. Peter is working on putting together an expo crawl where all the 90 Minders would go booth to booth. Not sure if this would conflict. I'd be interested in both - and if we don't do it as a sponsor deal maybe offer the time in front of the group as a freebie only to those who sponsored MOTM?

I think we need to nail down a room for one or two days next. Once we know the room size and length of stay, we can start filling in the gaps. Might be time to put the local organizer to work.

Jim and Therese are events. Everything should run through them. Anyone wants to volunteer, throw up a suggestion -send them to Therese who will handle the education and Jim who will handle the room/on-site stuff.

The scripting class would probably be 2 days. I suspect it could be done in 1 depending on who is attending. How many days would the SI class need to be?

I'll work with Therese again on the education items. Strongly suggest we bring others into the committee process to avoid conference burn out. We all have day jobs!!!

I already initiated the conversation with Alnoor a month ago on the scripting session. I'm glad to follow up with him again if that helps, @ThereseLogeais.

If this is my deal, then please let me deal with it. I WILL ask for help, don't worry. I just don't want people putting things out there that aren't confirmed yet and then I have to verify. Thanks much!

Can we have an Admin call soon to discuss options? I'm thinking we could do a one or two-day conference but I want others feedback. How about tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon or sometime on Friday??

As for Alnoor, I'll butt out but did have the conversation a month ago informally per this thread https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/19675650 .

@ThereseLogeais it's OK. Your response rubbed me the wrong way last night but wasn't no thang!
