Do we want to continue to pursue shared authorization for third parties such as BizNet? I know we tried this last year and I'm not sure anyone bought through our 90 Minds authorization though I know that some like Scott sold BizNet due to them participating. My guess is that we'd be better off not creating a 90 Minds reseller status with third parties unless we know there would be more than a one or two per year type sale.

I agree that it doesn't make sense.

I agree. It actually will become an administrative nightmare.

I think that most vendors would work with us if we gave them an opportunity to present to our members, etc. So I'd vote that we not continue to do this. The management of the process is too much work for low value.

Although with that said I could see 90 minds sponsoring some training classes on some of the products. We could pay for a class and offer it for our members

Are we talking about the $500 we paid in September, 2011? We had a webinar which I believe was pretty well attended and several people (number unknown) sign up. If so, I guess I have a different outlook. In reading the contract that was sent to me to sign, the fee was ONLY waived for the first year. Years following came out of the individual reseller pocket. At the time, I only had nibbles so I declined to sign up. As we progress farther and farther from FRx and given SMI still isn't (will ever?) be user friendly, I am still looking for a replacement for FRx. I can easily see five Biznet sales in the next 12 months. For those of you under the DSD umbrella, you probably don't need this type of shared authorization, but others (e.g. me, Diane Ruth, Therese, and Phil) could benefit from a shared authorization. I don't see any administrative nightmare or too much work on the horizon. What have we done in the past 16 months? Sponsored a webinar and gave Denise some time at last year's meeting come to mind. What else was there? Regarding administration, Give Denise a list of 90 Minds members each September after the new members are admintted and everyone else renews. Let them administer it from the list. We should also ask Denise to supply us with how many sales were made under the 90Minds group. At a minimum, we should bring this up to the group next week, get clarification from Denise of the sales volume and how they expected this to work. For all we know, they expected this to be a one year introductory offer.

That was my recollection too, Jeff.
