    Do we have anyone who knows Accpac US Payroll well? The question at hand is can the ""catching up"" on cafeteria plan deductions be automated if an employee misses a check? (For example after an hourly employee takes a week off unpaid or for some reason did not get their hours in in time for the check run.)

    Here's what my Accpac guru said: ""Hmm that's an interesting one. A macro 'could' potentially do this if we had an annual amount setup for that deduction on the employee then the macro could look at the cumulated amount for the year so far and recalc the new amount for the remainder of the year and plunk that into the payroll deduction amount for the employee. I think it would be a macro utility that would need to either be run by clicking an icon or else embedded into the calculate payroll process to run each time payroll was calc'd.

    Thanks! I rather suspect they are just hoping for a box to check, but I will find out if there is any actual value behind the request.
