  • 1.  Disable Unified - Prompts To Login “Administrator”

I have a unified login site (2018.2 Standard). I disable Unified by adding Logon=YES to the SOTA.ini

Works great but.... the first prompt for login pre-fills Administrator and I have to login as Sage admin then close. The second time I can get in as a user with regular (non unified) login.

Any idea how to also turn off the requirement to enter the Sage Admin login first?

I'm actually a bit impressed at Sage for implementing it this way.  Otherwise, a simple ini tweak could easily be used to bypass security (knowing Unified accounts typically have no password in Sage...). This way, only Admin can access the ability to log in as a different user.

I haven’t tested but I think the way to stop this is login once as Admin, change to systems settings and remove the Unified. Then exit. Go to sota.ini and remove that login=YES.

Then I think it would be back as a regular login.

Correct.  The ini tweak is for when you need to log in as a different user, while leaving the Live system as Unified.
