  • 1.  Disable REPRINT SALES ORDER

    Customer would like to DISABLE the option of a user to REPRINT a Sales Order that has already been printed.  If they need to do any changes to an order, the need to create a new one... Don't ask me why....but they say the customer is always right....right???

    If they always use quick print, a button script could replace the Sage button with the intended logic.  That won't work for SO Printing / Picking Sheet Printing though.

    How about going into roles for SO Entry and unchecking the "Modify" option. Of course, this does not prevent a reprint but accomplishes the intent of not changing  an order.

    Believe it or not...in the role maintenance when you check the Create....automatically it checks the Modify...you cannot uncheck Modify if you have the Create checked....SAGE!!!!!

    Try to enable the task, then clear the Modify.  I didn't see the version you're working with, so I've checked version 2016, 2019, and 2020.
