I'm thinking this is a non issue, but customer sent me a v2016 DD File and a v2019 DD File.  The order of the 6 records (the employee detail records) is different along with the name format.  In v2016 the records were in alpha order by last name.  In v2019 they appear to be in no particular order that I can tell and the names are in readable format 'Mary J Smith'
Has anyone had any problems with this new format being accepted by the bank?
Anyone know the rhyme/reason on the record order?

I haven't had any direct deposit clients on 2019 yet however I have a 2018 client using the 2.19.4 payroll which should be the same between 2019 and 2018.

They have done payrolls for close to 200 employees and have reported no problems with banks accepting ACH files.

I suspect the order has something to do with the new underlying employee keys.   If the client used employee names to define their employee numbers that would tend to keep them in alpha order whereas the employee keys would not..
