Did we come to any consensus on selling/marketing scripts on 90 minds, or are we not going to market anything here? We have a few scripts that we think might be popular. Should we set a standard cut for the partner? I know there was debate that they are all one-off type jobs, but that's not turning out to be the case in our experience. Thoughts?

I don't think that has been moved off the back burner yet. Too much Atlas and YE crap draining the collective's resources. I know I have a couple simple ones for auto naming invoice PDF's if your client only has a $1,000 budget for document management (and not the 15K for Al-tec or Acom). Dan Burleson has written a couple for me (auto sequence/number item #'s and auto create vendor numbers) that could be modified and marketed. Myron has a nice linkage to Worldship that writes back freight, package count and tracking #'s to the shipping screen. Yes, many of them are one off (anyone want a script to add a service fee to the SO based on the value of the items on the SO or translate a foreign currency amount into USD during ROG based on a translation rate at time of ROG entry), there are others that could have value/utility for many situations. Maybe we could add a page to the web site that would serve as a course catalogue with links back to the writer. Of course, we would need a volunteer to head up the project.

I like the idea of a separate script page. I'm happy to volunteer to help get this up and running if we can come to an agreement on how the sales/referrals will work.

I could help also after the 15th. :-) . Even if we just catalog script descriptions as a group I thing the effect would be possitive; both as a resource and as a ""light bulb"". Most users don't have a clue to the scope of script solutions and a sizeable catalog would spark ideas if not demand.

I think a catalogue listing with description would be a great idea. If the visitor is interested in more information, they could click on a hyper link to the owner's website page for more information, launch an Outlook e-mail with the owners address. They could then type in a message request.

Suggestion: Work with @JohnShaver to come up with some way to fixed fee this. It would make adoption a lot easier. Even if the purchase of a script had to include $500 (or whatever) fee for project management for the designer.
