    Did everyone else get the email about Sage ERP Migrator? Is this something anyone knew was coming? Jeez ... they do a bad job of communicating.

    I think it's to migrate from the products that they are doing away with. Prior Sage migration tools have been one step up from doing it manually...

    It is for sage pro to AccPac. Not a big deal for MAS world Jim

    Too bad they didn't release it before the Sage Pro Series promo last year ...

    I don't deal with Sage Pro or Accpac. I don't know why I got the email.

    I got it. I hadn't heard the Customer For Life tag line for some time. Perhaps this project has been around for some time and was forgotten about. Who'd want to send out an announcement and bring attention that the release is LATE! It is optimized for converting Sage PFW, Sage Pro and Accpac 500 to Sage 300. it sort of implies that it is ""unoptimized"" for converting BW and Sage 50 to Sage 100 Premium, but will work. It just takes longer. Something called the Sage ERP Migrator sounds like it would work with all Sage products.

    It has been in the works do over a year +. I agree with Wayne. It is usually a worthless conversion

    The plan is to roll in sage 100 but who knows when that will appear

    By the time it can convert a product to version 4.50, version 5.50 will already be here.
