Sage 100

Did a 4.5 to 2013 upgrade last night and having issues getting Crystal 2011 to install on their Citrix server. Un-installed the old version of crystal and the Sage client first. Install of the 2013 client on Citrix worked fine. With the Crystal 2011 install I get all the way through the license agreement, etc. steps to ""Start installation"" and when I click next the install attempts to start (white box with rotating blue dots) for a second and then disappears without a trace. I am logged in as administrator and running the install as administrator. Re-booted the server, disabled Trend and same result. Not much info on the SAP or Citrix forums either. Any suggestions?

Did you check the Event Log for an application error?

@DanBurleson - Nothing in the event logs, good idea though - I hadn't thought to check them. There must be a conflict somewhere because the setup just disappears, no error message or anything.

Be sure to install from the Sage 2013 autorun screen and not directly from the folder. There have been issues with this.

In a moment of inspiration (sheer desperation really......) I decided to change the install path from C:\Sage\Crystalblahblah to C:\SageCrystal\Crystalblahblah and for some reason known only to a programmer in a dimly lit cubicle somewhere it worked. Makes absolutely no sense but hey - it works!
