  • 1.  Detail missing on GL Detail Transaction report

    Have a client with multi-segmented GL accounts.  She ran the GL Detail for all Main accounts, segment 2 value 016 and got 2 accounts.  If she ran the report with a specific Main account and the same segment 2 value 016, she gets an account that did not appear on the first report.  I've rebuilt sort files and GL Detail Posting file.  ????????

    How is the second segment information entered? Perhaps a space is getting inserted?  I believe it should be equal and xxx,yyy - no spaces after the comma.  What happens when you enter the information?

    We're only trying to get ONE subaccount.  Have tried equal to and contains.
    So if we do ALL on all other selection criteria and Location equal to 016, we get 2 accounts, a 4xxx and a 5xxx.

    Then we do Main Account = 7020 and Location = 016, we get information for the 7020-016 account.
