  • 1.  Deleting a VI Job

    What is the best way to prevent a user from deleting a VI job?  The user has the rights to create new VI jobs, however, management does not want the user to be able to delete a VI job.

    I regularly export VI Jobs so I can restore if that happens, or if someone changes and breaks it.

    I also export all VI jobs for clients, but I'm not as religious about it as I probably should be.  It is way too easy to delete a VI job – there is not even an "are you sure" prompt when you hit the delete button.
