  • 1.  Delete Warehouse

    Sage100 Advanced v2021.2 Customer has been creating warehouses for every imaginable reason. Now they have about 75 warehouses they would like to completely delete. This means they have to delete history.  Sage100 only allows the deleting of historical data by date. This means they will lose all historical data (prior to the given date), regardless of the warehouse. I know you can suppress and make warehouses inactive, but they still show up in too many places. Is there an add-on or utility that will delete history by warehouse? Any other ideas? TIA

    Not aware of any add-ons or utilities to do that specifically.  If you mark the warehouses as inactive, as long as this option is unchecked for the company, then you won't have them showing up in the lookups.

    It does not seem to affect the warehouse quantities displayed in Item Inquiry/Maintenance though.

    At one point, I think Scanco may have had a warehouse renumbering utility.  Not sure if it is available separately but I recall seeing it on a system with their WMS enhancements.  Never used it though so not sure if it could be used to merge the unwanted warehouses into a single warehouse.

    Kevin, I'll take a look at the DSD Add-on.
    David, I selected that option for them, but they say that all these warehouses still show-up on various screens, like Reorder info, Quantities, etc. They seem to be suppressed from ALE lookups only.
