  • 1.  Delete Items with Bill of Materials

    Customer needs to delete over 13,000 inventory items, but they have Bill of Materials...I get the message that it wont delete them with Bill of Materials.Is there any way to delete 13,000 Bill of Materials like magic?????

    Rename the BMxxx folder?  Then identify the BOM's being kept and purge the rest?

    How about instead merging all those items to delete into a single ZZZDELETE item?  Can't imagine how long that'll take to run though!

    You could probably do something with a script.  Add a "Delete Me" type UDF, then trigger a script (button in BM options might be a good spot) to scroll through all BM Headers, then delete() the ones that were pre-marked as UDF = Y.
