Sage 100

In my v2021, I expanded the Price Decimals to 4.  The MIsc Item shows the price at 4 decimals.  However in AR Invoice Entry, it only shows 3 decimals.  WTH?
Is this WAD ?

2nd question, if this is WAD and I purchase the DSD 6 Decimal Precision, will it truly work in AR?

I don't know if it's WAD but it behaves that way for me too.  One thing I found interesting - if you do the calculator, it lets you enter 4 digits, but then it rounds it to 3 when you return it to the field.

Searching the Sage KB there are several articles dealing with decimal issues - most have the resolution of acknowledging the issue. The examples below are not the exact same as what you're reporting however lead me to think what you're reporting is defect vs WAD.

This one seems closest although they appear to be talking about a masking issue despite the title of decimals

I think in SO Invoices it uses all the decimals but not in AR.  Could be wrong.  Which is one of the reasons the expanded decimal still comes into play if needed in AR.
