**Decimal places** v2017 client is running JobOps but needs more than 4 decimals. DSD's 6-Decimal Precision is not compatible with JobOps. Looking for options, aside from getting creative with U/M conversions.

Even if you find a workaround, I would inquire with Scanco (for JobOps) and DSD to determine who needs to make a change to make them compatible. I'm assuming they play well together. We have not had a JobOps user that has required this precision.

Thanks, @JohnHoyt. Apparently this would be a massive project to make them compatible, according to JobOps. I was assuming this might have been somewhat of a common request since I was thinking that it'd be manufacturers who more likely would need the additional decimal places.

We have seen it with manufacturers that deal with chemicals mixtures where they have small amounts and also in the food industry. This is probably invasive similar to multi-currency, which I don't think will ever happen.

Sometimes scaling a work ticket template to a larger quantity can create the additional decimal precision. instead of having a template scale to a quantity of 1, make a quantity of 100 or some larger meaning batch quantity. that can gain you two or more decimal places within manufacturing.
