Sage is starting to send over answers to the questions that weren't addressed during the webinar.  I'll post them as I receive them to this thread.

The KB for the Employee Social Security Tax Deferral and Pay Back is KB106685. It includes everything about this employee tax deferral including how to setup the deferral and then pay it back.

     #KB106685  #SSDeferral  #deferral

Here are the rest of the replies from Sage Dev Team:

    HOUSEKEEPING

Question #1: "What is the reusable utility fix number?" (re: 1099-NEC)
Answer: Both utilities are available in one download, AP6001T

    SAGE PARTNER CLOUD

Question #2: "Will the user see their active session in the Task bar?" (re: SPC)
Answer: yes (Elliott: If they are using the Remote Desktop and the Sage 100 icon, it will appear like the normal on-premise solution would, if they are using the Browser to launch Sage 100 then, no, because it is within the browser only.)

Question #3: "If a user needs to import or export do they need Desktop Access?" (re:SPC)
Answer: yes, under data drive. (Elliott: there is a few ways they can transfer data to and from the Sage 100 site to their client workstation. But, the user will not have to have full desktop access)

Question #4: "I have a one word question: Printers." (re: SPC)
Answer: We will have more info on this. (Elliott: When working through the browser a PDF is generated and shared that can then be printed on the client side. If using remote desktop version, is like using RDP where if you share your printers, then the remote app can then print to those shared printers. We are looking into other solutions for printing.)

Question #5: "Any difference in functionality between running in browser vs remote desktop?"
Answer: not really (Elliott: As far as how the product functions, other than printing, not really. However, running as remote apps, looks and feels like it is running on your client machine. Running in a browser contains the Sage 100 windows within that browser, and minimized windows, do not go to your task bar, but instead disappear until you use the 'Restore" windows button is pressed.)

    Question #6: "Client/Server ODBC?" (re:SPC)
Answer: ?? Elliott - Not sure what is being asked. ODBC connection should still work, but the initial offering is Sage 100 Standard.

    PAPERLESS DEFAULT DELIVERY OPTIONS

Question #7: "Was there an APPLY button on the default paperless delivery options?" (re: Paperless Default Delivery Options)
Answer: Yes, it's the button at the top right.

    PAPERLESS EMAIL LOG

Question #8: "Is the email log going to be active in Payroll?" (re: Paperless Email Log)
    Answer: yes

Question #9: "With details encrypted, is there a way to set up an alert to email someone (internal) when an email attempt failed?" (re: Paperless Email Log)
Answer: looks like you could use the data to setup an alert – but will confirm after the webinar? (Steve: There wouldn't be anything in the base Sage 100 product that could do this. I'm not familiar with the third party addons and whether they could do an alert when an error occurs. The encrypted data would be an issue to get specifics for the alert message.)

    REPORT MANAGER/DEFAULT FORM CODES

Question #10: "Report Manager, copying form codes from one company to another does the Crystal Report get copied too, or just the table data? "
Answer: They crystal report gets copied also, this is existing functionality

Question #11: "Any relief on cleaning up the "slop" of previously created form names???"
Answer: You can delete report settings/form codes from report manager. Note will remove new form defaults also.

Question #12: "How can default forms by Role work when users can have multiple roles?"
Answer: It uses the same logic that is used for launching a task to determine the role to use for a user

COPY COMPANY – FORMS & REPORT SETTINGS

Question #13: "Will the copy overwrite Crystal Report files? That is dangerous…" (re: Copy Company – Forms and Report Settings)
    Answer: Yes all of it.

    OTHER

Question #14: "Any plans to provide flexibility in modifying the email message for on-the-fly mailings?" (re: ??)
Answer: Steve: Currently editing the message is only available when e-mailing a single PDF from the Customer and Vendor Viewer tasks. I will do some research on expanding that option
