DBF import??? Trying to import a dbf file with Visual Integrator (into payroll data entry). Is this possible? I've never imported this file type but dBASE III Plus is one of the file type options.

I've always had good luck pulling DBF data into Access. Never tried directly into VI. I'd probably try setting up a DSN to the DBF file and setting the VI to ODBC.

I agree. Use ODBC. Newer DBF formats aren't compatible with dBASE III Plus. Visual Foxpro still uses the DBF extension but is a different format and the same is true of newer dBASE files.
