Sage 100

  • 1.  Database Login Failed. Failed to Open the Connection. NON SQL

    All the Sage stuff I see for this error is only for SQL.  Client is on Std.

    New user.  Ran WKSETUP as admin.  Ran SAGE as admin.

    Still getting this - anyone seen?

    I had this same error yesterday. 

    Took a few installs of the following fix from Sage (Sage1002022-2024ODBCUpdate.exe)

    KB 120232 - 2022-2024 Program Fix for ODBC Driver

    • The print screen disappears without printing or previewing report in Sage 100 64-bit.
    • When printing via BOI in Sage 100 64-bit, certain errors like the following can occur: "Error in File [Crystal Report file name]: Database Connection Error."

    Very challenging as we just switch them to 64 bit to solve the DTR posting issue and then this pops up from Sage on issues with the 64 bit ODBC driver

    So I installed it multiple times (as Admin).  Then deleted 32 and 64 bit CR and reinstalled 64 only.  Ran fix again as admin.

    Still the same error, bless it's heart
