Customer is getting Database Connector Error when running the GL Detail Report. I know this is a bad date issue and I have managed to find the bad records in the GL_DetailPosting file. The problem is that there are about 500 such records, all related to an Invoice batch they posted in AP. The question I have is, can I somehow export and then import back the bad records or do I have to fix one at a time via DFDM?

I think you are stuck with manual corrections.  The posting date is part of the table's primary key so if you import values with a different date it would add instead of update.

Thanks Kevin, what if I delete the records and then re-import?. Deleting in DFDM is a lot easier than changing one at a time.

The table is not available for import unless you edit the DD... even then there will be fields (DateCreated, DateUpdated, UserCreatedKey...) that will not match the original postings (which an auditor would not like).

Maybe someone else has a better idea?

Kevin, I think you can import transactions via G/L Exchange but I think you are right about the Audit trail. I guess I better get started, it's gonna be a loooong day. Thank you.

Delete the records then reimport via JE Entry.  Easy to do.  Use the same source #'s.  Might have to open the GL period to accomodate the VI import
