  • 1.  data Conversion Error - 2017 Premium to 2023 Premium

    I am getting the followoing error during the data conversion.  Any idea how to fix this?

    The following conversion returned an error
    GGC:06.10.00.00:DATA:PO_PurchaseOrderDetail:000000:000
    The error was Error #84: No DICTIONARY exists on OPENed file in
    PO_TableConversion0500.pvc at line 186.
    View the Activity Log to locate a specific conversion log.

    Doug,

    Did you see this KB article, Error: "The following conversion record failed while converting XXX: 06.10.00.00:DATA:PO_PurchasingOrderDetail:000000:000 - Error #84:" when converting company data in Sage 100 Premium?

    The line in question is reading from PO_PurchaseOrderHeader so I don't see where the po0xxx.soa file would come into play but it is worth trying the steps in the KB article.  Might want to also check and make sure there isn't a PO_PurchaseOrderHeader.M4T file as well and if there is, append ".old" to it.

    If there above doesn't apply, then something else to check would be the table in the SQL database, try looking at the table in SSMS, see if you can query data, confirm the columns, keys, and indexes are present.

    Thank you @David Speck II  I did not see that article.  This is SQL premium so I wonder if the renaming the table is similar.  This article is exaclty what is happening so I will try it and if it doesn't work I am going to contact Sage tomorrow and hope I get a good support person.
