Customers are getting a royal screwing with Sage's supported versions policy. Already 2013 is no longer receiving product updates. If you need to download fixes you must navigate a hodge podge of one-off patches -- all of which require you install the latest 2013 product update 8. What a big step backward for Sage. It's just embarrassing and sad all rolled into one.

It is not Sage that is accelerating end of support for older Versions. SAP recently announced end of support for version 9.0 of Business One later this year. Version 9.1 just became generally available in January and 9.2 will not be out before 9.0 is deemed not supported. In their infinite wisdom it appears that publishers believe all customers should update every time a patch comes out and upgrade every time a version comes out regardless of integrations, third party products or general cost of testing.
