Customer would like to be able to lock building blocks in FRx (version 6.7.11027). They click on the lock/unlock button on the Catalog screen and are prompted to enter a password. They fill in the password and save the catalog, which is now labelled as Locked. However, when another user opens the catalog, they are able to change the catalog (specifically, they are able to change the Row code) and FRx never prompts them for a password. I have also tried locking the Row and Column but still no luck. The goal is to give users the ability to run FRx reports but not change them. Has anyone else run into this issue?

They are running Sage 100 Standard 4.50.4.0.

I believe you need to turn on user security on the administration screen

Can you give them the Report Launcher instead of the Designer? I think the ability to only run/generate reports is what the Launcher is for.
